James T. Budd

James T. Budd is a trial lawyer with a practice that focuses in the areas of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, construction litigation and commercial litigation.  He has tried many cases in both state and federal courts in Georgia while representing individuals, businesses, insurance carriers and self-insured corporations.  Mr. Budd is a native of Atlanta and joined the firm in 1985.   He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1985.  He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the Atlanta Claims Association.  He conducts training seminars for clients both inside and outside of the State of Georgia on a regular basis.  Outside of work, he enjoys tennis and golf as well as spending time with his daughter, Jordan, and his son, Townshend.
