F. Taylor Putney, Jr.

F. Taylor Putney, Jr., who heads Mabry & McClelland’s workers’ compensation practice group, has specialized in workers’ compensation law since 1983.  Taylor began practice with Mabry & McClelland in July, 2007.  Taylor received a BA in Economics with high distinction in 1975 and his law degree in 1980, both from University of Virginia.  As an undergraduate, Taylor received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, was inducted in Phi Beta Kappa and Raven Societies and served on the Honor Committee, Student Council and as Secretary of the College.  While in law school, Taylor was admitted to Phi Delta Phi and Omicron Delta Kappa and served in the Legal Defense Assistance Project and as Honor Committee Representative.  Taylor was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1980, and is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts and in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.  Taylor served as law clerk to the Honorable William C O’Kelley, 1981-1983.  Taylor developed the original web site for the Atlanta Claims Association, and now serves on the Executive Committee and as Chairman of the Internet Communications Committee, and is an Honorary Life Member of the Association.
