Nathan J. Smith, Associate
Nathan Smith’s practice deals primarily with premises liability defense representing insurance companies, self-insured corporations, and private individuals. Nathan has worked on all sides of the civil litigation practice. While in law school, he assisted a respected Macon, Georgia firm in its representation of claimants in personal injury litigation. He also served as a judicial intern in Judge Todd Markle’s chambers at the Fulton County Superior Court. Nathan interned at the Office of the Governor’s Executive Council.
Nathan received his JD, cum laude, from the Walter F. George school of Law at Mercer University, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Nathan was born and reared in Atlanta. He is an active Toastmaster, works on Habitat for Humanity Builds, a voracious reader and member of the Atlanta Bar Association Non-Fiction Book Club, and is a member of the Methodist church Mt. Pisgah in Alpharetta, Georgia.
