Peter C. Brown, Associate
Peter recently joined Mabry & McClelland in May of 2020. Before joining the firm, Peter worked on both sides of the aisle on personal injury litigation. He has handled all aspects of litigation including successfully representing clients at workers’ compensation hearings and also jury trials, both in state and federal court. Peter has also defended local government entities and their employees including Georgia cities, counties and the State of Georgia in litigated matters. Peter has extensive experience working with law enforcement in personal injury and civil rights matters. He has conducted and participated in internal investigations of police departments in response to allegations of improper conduct and procedural violations. Peter is also certified in DUI field sobriety testing and detection.
After obtaining a degree in history from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, Peter earned his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He has volunteered his time to the legal community as an evaluator in numerous mock trial competitions and has coached and prepared a local high school team for competition. Peter and his wife, Laurie, are members of Peachtree Presbyterian Church and reside with their children, Kathryn and David, in the Atlanta area. When time permits, he enjoys traveling with his family.
